INTRODUCTION
Success in carnage involves skilfully completing each of the eight tracks first - No matter how. The player who wins a race is awarded points towards the carnage championship as well as money which can be used to upgrade your vehicle.

To continue to the next track you must win the race.

The control panel is set out as follows from left to right: Speedo - Damage Meter - Lap - Armed Mines

Armed Mines
During the game it is possible to lay mines which will explode on contact with other cars. Only one mine can be laid at a time which will disappear if nobody collides with it in a certain time limit.

Joystick Controls
[UP] - Nitro
[RIGHT] - Right
[DOWN] - Drop Mine
[LEFT] - Left
[FIRE] - Accelerate

Upgrading Your Vehicle
At the end of the race (if you win) you can enter the shop to purchase any of the following:

Big Bore Engine = Faster Top Speed
Double Exhaust = Faster Acceleration
Wheels = Power Steering
Nitro Boost = Extra Nitro Bottles
Mines = Extra Mines

To activate nitro's push joystick up while holding down fire.
